My Why

​

Travel has always been about more than seeing beautiful places. For me, it is about making memories while we can.

​

Years ago, as my twins prepared to graduate from high school, I made a promise to myself that I would stop putting off my own dreams and start seeing more of the world. Since then, I’ve explored 31 states, visited Canada, traveled through Europe, and experienced beautiful island destinations. Those experiences have brought me joy, perspective, and a deeper appreciation for what travel can mean.

But my love for travel goes deeper than my own bucket list.

​

My family once talked about taking a sisters’ trip with my beloved sister, Loretta. Before that trip could happen, we lost her. That loss changed the way I look at life and travel forever. Now, in her memory, we honor her every year with our Sisters Getaway, and 14 years later, that tradition is still going strong.

​

That experience taught me something I now carry into every trip I plan for my clients: there will always be reasons to wait, but the time to make memories with the people you love is now.

That is why I do what I do.

I believe travel should be more than just a vacation on the calendar. It should bring people closer, celebrate meaningful moments, and create memories that stay with you long after the trip is over.
